Olek Siegień, who successfully bid for a head-to-head karting session with Kacper Nadolski in an auction, met the driver for a competition at the indoor racing track near Poznań. His father Marek also joined the racing. “Both have a flair for racing”, Nadolski commented on the auction’s winners.
The session was split into three parts: practice, time trial and a head-to-head race. The event took place on 28 June at the E1Gokart racing track.
“I am very glad to see that the winner of the online auction for a racing session with me is an automotive fan. You could really tell right from the start that both Olek and Marek Siegeń have a flair for racing and enjoy automotive sports, showing that during the race and in pit-stop talk”, says Kacper Nadolski.
The price paid by the winner of the auction for a karting race with the Polish national side karting driver in KZ2 category was donated to charity. The auction itself was held in early June and organised by a Poznań restaurant Lizawka and Drużyna Szpiku marrow donor charity. The main goal of the Children’s Day and picnic at Lizawka was to raise funds for the treatment of Piotrek Wojciechowski, suffering from a serious disease. Nearly PLN 30,000 was raised, of which PLN 2,000 came from the auction won by Olek Siegień.
